Introducing Our Team

Amy Rogers, M.A. CCC-SLP is an experienced speech-language pathologist with specialized training and expertise in reading and writing. After receiving her masters degree in speech-language pathology from Northwestern University, in her early career, she worked as a team-teacher in a classroom of children with speech and language challenges. There, she was tasked with not only improving communication skills in her students, but also teaching academics. She found that the tools she had to teach reading were not working, which led her to seek additional training in the field. After four years working at Ravinia Reading Center and being trained in a variety of effective methods for teaching even the most struggling students to read, her career truly took shape. She found a passion for supporting students with both oral and written language challenges, including those with dyslexia. She further expanded her practice by offering affordable, efficient evaluations for dyslexia and other language/learning challenges, in partnership with her husband, a clinical psychologist. At Inspire, her dedication to the highest quality of evaluations and intervention for struggling students continues.

Greg Rogers, PhD is a licensed psychologist who has been providing therapy for children, adolescents, and families for over 15 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a doctorate in psychology from Northwestern University. He has held a position in the University of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry since moving to Madison in 2004. In his clinical practice, Greg routinely worked with children who were struggling in school as a result of learning problems. With each child, he established a therapeutic relationship, formulated an understanding of how cognitive abilities affect their emotional life and developing sense of self, and provided support and strategies to help them do and feel their best. At Inspire, these skills enable him to provide a comfortable, supportive experience and insightful feedback to students and families in his evaluations of students.
